Q: How are services at Let's Talk different from services offered through the school district or other clinic?
A: We offer services in the practical setting of a home. This capitalizes the use of the child's own toys, routines, environments, and people/family. Therapy provided in the school may vary greatly on the length and frequency of services provided. These are based on the child's IEP (Individualized Education Plan). A school based SLP may see children in a group of 2-3, whereas we offer only 1:1 therapy services. We offer our undivided attention and focus of a trained therapist to meet the specific needs of the child.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: We have made the decision to not accept insurance. The reason for making this decision has a lot of dimensions. For one, insurance companies do not recognize speech and language therapy as being an important, needed, service. In the rare cases that insurance does cover therapy, there are heavy limitations on duration, frequency, and date range of therapy. We do accept HSA and FSA and will supply a detailed itemized receipt upon request. We accept cash, check, venmo, or PayPal as options for payment.
